About Us
My name is Jo and I am Mum to two gorgeous girls, Emma and Ruby, and wife to my very supportive husband, Todd.
After Emma was born we had endless problems with her skin, eczema and nappy rash. Everything that was store-bought, including disposable nappies, gave her some sort of reaction. So, there began my research and discovery of natural products. We changed Emma to cloth nappies and the transformation was almost instantaneous. There was no kicking, screaming, crying or nappy rash when it was time to change a nappy. The relief for both her and me was fabulous and I've been hooked on cloth nappies ever since. Who wouldn't be...they are so cute!
The Natural Newborn is a family run business founded after a very frustrating afternoon of looking for some flushable nappy liners at my local supermarket. I have slowly become very discouraged with the products available for parents at supermarkets and have found that finding natural and eco-friendly alternatives is actually quite a struggle. So, I've done all the research for you...even testing of products on our own children!
We believe that there is a better alternative both for baby and the environment in everything that we choose to purchase for our precious new family members. Whether it is a cot mattress or a bum wipe!
I would love to help you reduce the chemicals being used on your baby and child whilst being kinder to our planet.
